Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using EternalQR ("the Service"), operated by Vempus Technologies Private Limited, Koraput, Odisha, India, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Service Description

EternalQR is a dynamic QR code platform. You can create QR codes that permanently link to a short URL, then change the destination URL at any time. Paid plans also support six additional QR content types – vCard (dynamic, served as .vcf), Wi-Fi, SMS, tel (phone), email, and plain text (all static, with the payload encoded directly in the QR image) – plus customization options including colors, center logo upload, and tags. The Service records scan analytics (timestamp, country, device type, referrer, and IP address) for URL and vCard QR codes so you can see how they are being used. Raw scan details are retained for up to 365 days; aggregate counts may be retained longer for lifetime totals. Static QR types encode their content directly in the image and are not tracked.

Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

Your Account

  • Accounts are created via Google or GitHub OAuth. You may only maintain one account.
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account.
  • You must not share your session or allow others to access the Service through your account.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Redirect to phishing pages, malware, or any harmful content.
  • Distribute illegal material or content that violates the rights of others.
  • Impersonate another person, brand, or organisation.
  • Create redirect loops, link farms, or use automated tools for bulk link creation.
  • Distribute QR codes designed to deceive or mislead people about their destination.
  • Upload logo images that infringe third-party intellectual property (trademarks, copyrighted brand marks, or other protected imagery you don't have rights to use), or that depict illegal, defamatory, or hateful content.

QR Codes & Printed Materials

URL and vCard QR codes generated by the Service depend on the availability of our servers to redirect scans. Static QR types (Wi-Fi, SMS, tel, email, text) encode content directly in the QR image and work without reaching our servers; editing them updates the image, but any previously printed copies retain their original content and must be reprinted to reflect changes. If you print a QR code on physical materials (business cards, packaging, signage, etc.), you acknowledge that:

  • Dynamic QR codes (URL, vCard) will stop working if the link is deleted, deactivated, expired, or if the Service is unavailable.
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the redirect service.
  • We are not liable for any costs, losses, or inconvenience resulting from printed QR codes that stop functioning.

Intellectual Property

The Service, its design, code, and branding are the property of Vempus Technologies Private Limited. You retain all rights to the URLs and content you link to through the Service. We claim no ownership over your destination URLs or the content they point to.

Plans & Pricing

The Service is available in the following tiers:

  • Free: 5 QR codes, unlimited scans, analytics on the first 1,000 scans per month, URL QR only with standard colors, and 30 days of scan history.
  • Starter: $5/month or $48/year. 50 QR codes, unlimited scans, analytics on the first 25,000 scans per month, all 7 QR types, branded customization, tags, expiry, and 90 days of scan history.
  • Pro: $19/month or $180/year. Unlimited QR codes, unlimited scans, analytics on the first 1,000,000 scans per month, all 7 QR types, branded customization, tags, expiry, 1 year of scan history, and priority support.
  • Lifetime: $89 one-time payment. 50 QR codes, unlimited scans, analytics on the first 25,000 scans per month, all 7 QR types, branded customization, tags, expiry, and 90 days of scan history, with no recurring fees.

When you reach your plan's QR code limit, you cannot create new codes until you upgrade or remove existing ones. When you reach your monthly analytics tracking limit, your QR codes continue to redirect normally – only analytics collection pauses until the next calendar month or until you upgrade. We call this the Anti-Trap Guarantee: your QR codes keep redirecting when you cancel your plan, downgrade, hit any limit, or let your subscription expire. The guarantee does not cover account deletion or individual QR code deletion, which are deliberate destructive actions initiated by you. See the full Anti-Trap Guarantee for details.

We may adjust pricing with at least 30 days' notice. Existing subscriptions are honoured at their current rate until the next renewal date.

Billing & Payment

  • All payments are processed by LemonSqueezy, which acts as our merchant of record. Your purchase is subject to LemonSqueezy's Terms of Service.
  • Subscriptions (Starter and Pro) automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled before the renewal date.
  • If a renewal payment fails, LemonSqueezy will retry up to four times over approximately two weeks. If all retries fail, the subscription expires and your account reverts to the Free plan.
  • We do not store your payment card information. All payment data is processed and stored securely by LemonSqueezy.
  • Transaction receipts are sent by LemonSqueezy to the email address associated with your account.

Cancellation & Refunds

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time. Your paid plan remains active until the end of the current billing period, after which your account reverts to the Free plan.
  • All purchases are final. We do not offer refunds on Starter, Pro, or Lifetime plans. See our Refund Policy for full details and narrow exceptions (service failures and statutory rights).
  • Your existing QR codes continue to redirect on all plans, including Free and after cancellation. This is our Anti-Trap Guarantee.

Service Continuity

We are committed to keeping your QR codes functional:

  • QR codes continue redirecting on all plans, including Free and after cancellation or downgrade.
  • If you downgrade or cancel, existing QR codes remain active. Analytics tracking continues up to your new plan's analytics limit.
  • If you delete your account, all associated QR codes permanently stop redirecting and all data is erased.

Termination

  • You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. This permanently removes all your links, scan data, and profile information.
  • We may suspend or terminate your account without prior notice if you violate these terms or our Acceptable Use Policy.
  • Upon termination, all associated QR codes will stop redirecting.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vempus Technologies Private Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. This includes, without limitation, damages arising from printed QR codes that cease to function, service downtime, or account termination.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Koraput, Odisha, India.
